Water Wednesday Preview: Reclaimed Water

Last Updated on January 19, 2022 by Tennille Herron

This month Water Wednesday will feature Reclaimed Water!

Reclaimed water is all around you and you probably don’t even realize it! Walk outside and look down at your sprinklers. Are they purple? If the answer is yes, that’s reclaimed water! The concept behind reclaimed water is repurposing water that has already been used throughout your household. The water being sprayed all over your plants is water that you could have even showered in. How can this be right? During this month Water Wednesday unpacks exactly why reclaimed water can be repurposed in such a way. Also, what environmental and financial benefits reclaimed water brings.
