Weed management is a constant battle in Florida landscapes, nurseries and agricultural production areas. Doveweed, a grass-like warm season annual weed, is a common contender in this battle.

This EDIS document provides updated information about doveweed habitat, distribution, growth habits, physical features, fruit and seeds and plant biology. In addition, management techniques such as physical, cultural and chemical controls will be highlighted as well.
