Liberty County 4-H Summer Day Camps 2014

logo-interiorLiberty County 4-H has planned four exciting day camps this summer. Your child will be involved in hands on activities while learning life skills. They can mingle with their friends and have the opportunity to make new friends.

Day camps are for youth ages 8-13 years old, as of September 1, 2013 unless specified by day camp.

They are held at the Veteran’s Memorial Civic Center from 9:00am-4:00pm EST. $20.00 for each day camp.

All forms can be found on our website: liberty.ifas.ufl.edu. Registration is not complete until all forms and payment has been turned into the 4-H office. If you have any questions, please call (850) 643-2229.

Spaces are limited, so register early.

June 10th & 11th – Cooking in the kitchen with veggies from the garden

Youth will experience the hands on aspects of cooking in the kitchen with veggies that have been grown in the garden.

July 8th & 9th – Get on Target with 4-H Archery

Youth will have hands on experience in bow shooting and how to care for their archery equipment. Youth will also conduct a variety of experiments to teach the science behind archery.

July 15th & 16th Girls Wanna have fun!

Girls will have fun being together doing activities in enhance a healthy lifestyle. Come to this day camp, pamper yourself and relax!

July 22nd thru 24th – Having Fun with Junk – Drawer Robotics

Youth will learn about a different aspect of robotics as they take the challenge to design and build a robot from using everyday household items. They will travel on the last day to the North Florida Fair Grounds where they will compete with their robots with different youth in the district. Ages 10-12 year olds as of September 1, 2013.
