UF/IFAS Leon County Extension Hosts Florida Turfgrass Association’s 2017 Regional Turf Seminar

The UF/IFAS Leon County Extension Office and the Florida Turfgrass Association (FTGA) are partnering to host one of the 2017 Regional Turf Seminars here in Tallahassee on February 15, 2017 from 7:30 to 2:10. This seminar is perfect for landscape professionals, especially those in the residential, athletic, and golf turf maintenance business, who want to increase their knowledge of turfgrass.

Presentation topics include pesticide resistance, evidence-based turf management, cultural practices to compliment herbicides, performance of new bermudagrass and zoysiagrass hybrids, and managing abiotic stresses. The presenters are subject experts from the University of Florida, University of Georgia, and industry.

Registration costs start at $40/person and also include lunch and presentations from industry sponsors!

CEU’s will be provided in the following categories: CORE, private applicator, O&T, LCLM, Limited L&O, and FNGLA.
