Hybrid Event for the 2020-2021 Year
Welcome!
We are excited to offer you a new twist on County Events for the 2020-2021 Year. To better accommodate all our youth and families, we are bringing you a modified way to participate! Many of the contests available on the county level this year are available in either the traditional in-person or virtual submission. Due to COVID-19 policies, Masks and Social Distancing will be enforced at the in-person event. Limited access to contest rooms will be in place as well with monitoring to ensure we are following University of Florida Policies. If this does not appeal to you, we encourage you to participate in County Events virtually. Regardless of how you participate or which contest(s) you choose to participate in, County Events is excited to have you here!

*All in-person events except Chicken BBQ and Skill-a-thon start at 1:00 pm. Chicken BBQ will start at 10:00 am and end around 12:30 pm, Skill-a-thon will start at 10:00 am and remain open all day to allow all youth interested in participating an opportunity!
How to Register
Youth will need to preregister through the Lee County 4-H: County Events Google Forms. Please note that registration is necessary and must be completed by Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 if a youth wishes to participate in person or virtually. This is purely to make sure office staff have adequate time to add youth to the Google Drive if they are participating virtually or plan room layout for those who are participating in-person.

*Based on the contests you register for, you will either attend the in-person event at North Fort Myers Rec Center on Saturday, April 10th or will receive an email invitation to your Gmail email provided to participate virtually by Wednesday, April 7th. *
Awards Ceremony
In order to recognize everyone who participated, the Awards Ceremony will be held virtually on Tuesday, April 13th at 6:30 pm. As we get closer a link will be sent out. Awards pick up will be Wednesday, April 14th to Friday, April 16th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the 4-H Building in North Fort Myers Recreational Park.
