Children Cooking Class

How often do you hear your child/children ask, “I want to help cook?” The Jefferson County Extension Office will often a Children Cooking Class. The class will be held May 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Topics include Cooking Safety, Hand Washing, Mixing Skills, Reading a Recipe, Food Preparation Skills and Using Small Appliances.

The participants will prepare several dishes, as well as receive a cookbook with the recipes they use. The class limit is ten participants. The cost is $20.00. Each second child in a family cost is $10.00.
