4-H Enrollment is open now at 4HOnline. If you are participating as a 4-H member, your enrollment must be current within 30 days of the event. The Panhandle Youth Expo is scheduled for October 10-13th. You must be enrolled at the time you register for the event at the Extension Office and no later than September 10th.

The Panhandle Youth Expo is an educational event sponsored by the Panhandle Youth Expo, Inc., a non-profit corporation, whose purpose is to promote livestock education. To offer youth livestock exhibitors’ opportunities to exhibit their projects in a competition setting, for the youth that are eligible to show livestock in either 4-H or FFA.

Entry is open to youth from Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Wakulla, Walton, and Washington counties in Florida, Houston, and Geneva counties in Alabama, and Seminole County in Georgia.

Livestock Shows

Livestock Shows are open to all youth enrolled in public, private and home schools, and who are current, bonafide members of 4-H and FFA. These youth will compete in different contests, including Livestock and Poultry Judging, Beef Showmanship, Swine Showmanship, Goat Showmanship and, of course, the beef, poultry, goat and swine shows.

The swine show will be a non-terminal show. Ear tags will be issued at the time of registration. Tagging and health certificates are the responsibility of the exhibitor. Health papers for swine entries must be presented at time of check-in.
