Jackson County 4-H Visits Project Venture

Jackson County 4-H Agent, Angel Granger, visited students enrolled in Project Venture every morning during the week of May 19 to May 23, 2014. She discussed 4-H Programming, 4-H day and residential camps, and the importance of agriculture, science, engineering and technology in their future, with youth from Kindergarten through the eighth grade, as part of an outreach program designed to engage Jackson County Schools in 4-H. She introduced them to 4-H Project Record Books and shared 4-H curriculum with them as well. 4-H is open to all youth ages 5 to 18. There is also a great need for Adult Volunteers to help lead 4-H Programs. Thanks so much to Ms. Bonnie Seay and Ms. Kerry Gilmore for allowing us to visit!

For information on how youth or adults can enroll in 4-H or become volunteers, please contact Mrs. Granger at (850) 482-9620 or amgranger@ufl.edu.
