WHY? To train you to take the Private Applicator and CORE Exams
Anyone that applies Restricted Use Pesticides (RUPs) to one’s own private property or property of their employer must have a Private Applicator pesticide license or be operating under someone who does have a license. To obtain this license, the applicant must pass 2 exams: Private Applicator and General Standards (CORE). Once the applicant passes the exams, they will need to pay $100 for the license.
A training will be held on December 12, 2013 for anyone who is in need of training for the exam. The exams will be administered following the training course. Additionally, CEU’s will be available for anyone who already has a license.
The cost for the course will be $10 in the form of cash or check. Registration opens at 8:15 AM and the exam will be administered at 12:30 PM after lunch.
