Pesticide General Standards (CORE) Class and CEUs

St. Lucie County Extension is offering Pesticide General Standards (CORE) Exam Review Class via virtual webinar (Zoom) on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm EST. This review session will help prepare you for the FDACS General Standards (CORE) pesticide exam and by attending, you will receive 2 CEU credits in either the 487 General Standards (CORE) or the 482 General Standards (CORE) category.

The class will review the basics of pesticide application including:

  • Laws
  • Rules & regulations
  • Reading a pesticide label
  • Pesticide formulations
  • Human & environmental hazards

If you have already taken a previous offering of this class on a different date and have been awarded the CEUs, you cannot retake it for additional CEUs. You can download an information flyer in pdf here: COREclass1-26-21-flyer

The event will be held online via Zoom. Prior to the class, the Zoom link to join the class will be sent to the email given at registration. You will not need a microphone or webcam to participate.
