The UF/IFAS Communications graphic design team created a series of 3 infographics on the topic of outdoor care taking. The titles include Outdoor Water Savings Tips, Florida-Friendly Landscaping Principles and Compost Basics. We used a similar style of illustration, font set and color palette to create a consistent look and feel between the 3 graphics. The simple illustrations visually describe items quickly and the word bubbles give best management practices for each item. The purpose of this series was to act as an educational outreach tool in social media campaigns, and to encourage behavioral change among the public. They were also designed to be used in conjunction with other materials promoting upcoming workshops in relevant topics.
