Subject: Transition to T4

The plan to transition UF’s “critical path” websites into TERMINALFOUR , the new Web Content Management System (WCM) is underway.

On Wednesday morning, July 29th , UFL.EDU will be pushed live into TERMINALFOUR. The T4 project team has been working to ensure a smooth transition. To assist campus Webmasters and affiliated IT staff who would like to use the TERMINALFOUR WCM, UFIT is developing two training courses, one for technical end-users and one for less-technical end users. Anyone wishing to use the new system will be required to complete the training courses before gaining access to TERMINALFOUR. Both training courses will be available in mid-August.

Departments who want to ‘opt-in’ and move their content into the new WCM may request enrollment in the courses here:

http://webservices.it.ufl.edu/contact/terminalfour-enrollment/

Since security roles must be obtained after taking the training, we recommend submitting your request to enroll for the training early so that you can get started as soon as the courses are ready. Please contact UF Web Services if you have any questions about TERMINALFOUR and training enrollment.

Thank you,
