WCMS Terminal Four Recommended

As of June 2013, UF’s second Web Content Management Taskforce recommended Terminal Four (T4) as the new UF Web Content Management System (WCMS) for the next five years. After playing around in the system, I am extremely confident about the T4 product. If you don’t know anything about T4, the WCMS is more popular overseas. Although T4 is a small company, they pack a large punch in my opinion. The T4 staff is also knowledgeable about their product from front-end to back-end.

For all the WordPress lovers, T4 possesses a homegrown approach that makes the transition from WP, Drupal, etc. more appealing and more doable. I was also impressed with how well T4 (staff and system) understood the diversity within the UF web community and in particular UF/IFAS. T4 elevates the ability to unify and diversify. I think this is a very important part of a community and web presence—the ability to demonstrate commonalities and individuality all at once.

You can visit the T4 website for more information on this WCMS. Terminal Four will also have a conference in Boston called tForum.boston on November 7-8th.

Now that the recommendation is official I hope the system is truly chosen.
