Solar Cooking Class – August 16

SolarCooker_ThumbMaking and using a solar cooker can let you have hot meals when the power is off, keep you from losing food, or just help reduce your cooking costs. We’ll demonstrate how to make a solar cooker, tips on safely using solar cookers, and even prepare food you can sample. Please join us Tuesday, August 16, 6:00-8:30 p.m., at the Holmes County Ag Center, 1173 E. Hwy. 90, Bonifay.

Registration fee is $5 and includes class materials. Space is limited. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by contacting the Holmes County Extension Office, 850-547-1108 or the Washington County Extension Office, 850-638-6265.
