Holmes County 4-H County Events

Do you love fashion? Do you have a natural singing or dancing ability? Do you like to give your opinion on an important topic? Well, we have the competitions for you!!

Holmes County 4-H will collaborate with Washington County 4-H in their 4-H County Events known as the 4-H Evening of Achievement this year. The 4-H Evening of Achievement is an opportunity for 4-Hers to compete in several fun events that may even take them to the state level competition! Holmes County 4-H youth, ages 5-18 (as of September 1, 2014), are eligible to participate in the competitive events found on pages 7-12 of the Washington County 4-H Youth Fair Contest Booklet. 4-H members must comply with the rules set forth in the Fair Booklet or will be disqualified.

Competitive events include: Share The Fun, Demonstrations & Illustrated Talks, Public Speaking, and Achievement Tabletop Display, Photography Contests, and Public Speeches.

Registration is required and due by February 2, 2015. No late entries will be accepted. You may turn in your entry forms to Ms. Niki in the Holmes County 4-H Office. For additional questions, contact Ms. Niki at ncrawson@ufl.edu or at 850-547-1108.
