Sadie Hudson, a 4th grade student from Bonifay Elementary School, was awarded 1st Place in the 4th Grade District II 4-H/Tropicana Public Speaking Contest held on June 1, 2013 at the Jackson County Extension Office. A total of fifteen youth from six participating counties participated in the first ever District II 4-H Tropicana Public Speaking Contest this year. Representing Holmes County were: Sadie Hudson, a 4th grader from Bonifay Elementary School and Ian Sallas, a 5th grader from Bonifay Middle School. Both youth did an outstanding job at the District Level! Congratulations!
