Alvin C. Warnick Reproductive Management School

This course is sponsored by the Florida Cooperative Extension Service and is conducted in conjunction with area large animal Veterinary practitioners. It is part of a continuing multi-county effort to help South Florida beef producers market more pounds of beef per cow profitably.

Next week, the Florida Cooperative Extension Service along with the South Florida Beef-Forage Program members will be conducting a reproduction school to educate and allow producers hands on learning opportunities to overall improve their herd health and profits. Being held at Longino Ranch, it will allow cattlemen to see reproductive management practices in action. This annual event is 3 days and typically rewards producers in understanding herd management and encourages working with their local veterinarians in improving overall breeding programs.

I will be attending this event and am excited to see what this event has to offer to producers in South Florida. To see the schedule please click here.
