College of Agricultural and Life Sciences

The CALS Dean Circle is a group of dedicated alumni and friends who contribute annually to the UF/IFAS College of Agricultural and Life Sciences’ Dean’s Circle Fund. This support is used to achieve the college’s highest priorities, at Dean Elaine Turner’s discretion. In the past, these funds have been used for:

  • Encouraging innovative curricula such as the CALS Leadership Institute – preparing students for success in a global society through professional development opportunities and study abroad experiences
  • Funding to attract premier graduate students
  • Providing faculty seed grants for teaching innovations and sustaining priority programs

Dean’s Circle members receive special correspondence from Dean Turner and invitations to CALS events. Anyone can join by donating here at one of the following levels:

If you would prefer to give by check, please make payable to the University of Florida Foundation and include “CALS Dean’s Circle” in the memo line. Checks can be mailed to UF/IFAS Advancement, PO Box 110170, Gainesville, FL 32611.

For more information about the CALS Dean’s Circle, please contact UF/IFAS Advancement at (352) 392-1975 or advancement@ifas.ufl.edu.
