Florida 4-H Alumni + Friends Community

Through diverse projects from animal science to robotics, 4-H builds forward-thinking leaders committed to making the world a better place. As a result, 4-H alumni serve as leaders in their communities, country, and world in agriculture, science, politics, engineering, arts, technology and more.

For many 4-H alumni, their 4-H years are full of treasured memories and form the foundations of lifelong friendships. We are excited to announce the Florida 4-H Alumni + Friends Community.

Building on the National 4-H “Raise Your Hand” campaigns, alumni and friends are invited to connect through this new community. Members receive program news, resources and invites to events. You can view the May 2020 Community Update here.

Whether a former youth member, caring volunteer, supportive parent, professional or community friend supporting 4-H’ers, you are invited to join by subscribing to the Florida 4-H Alumni + Friends Community. 4-H Alumni of other states who are now living in Florida are also welcome. Additionally, we invite you to connect with alumni from across the country through the national Official 4-H Alumni LinkedIn group, and stay up to date with the @FL4HAlumni Facebook page.

We would love to hear from you and share updates on the great things our Florida youth are doing in 4-H! If you’d like to share your 4-H story, please connect with Caylin Hilton at grow4H@ifas.ufl.edu or 352.392.5432. Interested in 4-H for the youth in your life? Contact your local 4-H agent at your county’s extension office or visit florida4h.org.

4-H is the national youth development program of the land-grant university system and Cooperative Extension System. For more than 100 years, Florida 4-H has served as the premier youth development program in the state of Florida for youth ages 5-18. In Florida, 4-H is administered by University of Florida IFAS Extension and Florida A&M University.
