Florida Master Naturalist Freshwater Wetlands Class starting soon!

UF IFAS Extension Escambia & Santa Rosa counties are offering the next 40-hour module in our 2-year Florida Master Naturalist program rotation; Freshwater Wetlands. The course will start on Tuesday, March 13 and run on consecutive Tuesdays to graduation on April 24. We have field trips scheduled as part of every single class session this time (weather permitting) and it is shaping up to be a fun couple of months. In addition to class sessions at the Extension offices, we will meet at and tour historic Arcadia Mill, take a guided boat trip through the Mobile River delta, visit the pitcher plants of Splinter Hill bog in Alabama, and hike other sites including Morrison Springs and local trails.

Please register if you are interested in the course and share with any friends or family who could join us. The schedule is attached.
