New Escambia County 4-H Program Assistant

Jereme Johnson is the new Escambia County 4-H Program Assistant.

We would like to welcome Jereme Johnson to the Escambia County 4-H family! Jereme is no stranger to the 4-H family, as he is joining us from his previous job as program staff for Florida 4-H camping. Jereme currently resides in the Warrington Community of Escambia County. He is currently attending Pensacola State College pursuing an associates degree. After, he intends to transfer to the University of Florida Agricultural Education distance learning program.

Background

Jereme began his 4-H journey as program staff for Florida 4-H camping. Over the past four years, Jereme had the opportunity to work at all four Florida 4-H camps across the state. It was also during this time, that Jereme discovered that his interests lay in agricultural education. Provided with the opportunity to work with a diverse set of youth, he was also challenged to teach a wide variety of subjects to campers, such as recreational dance and junk drawer robotics. Jereme has also attended 4-H functions such as 4-H University serving as event staff. With his positive personality, Jereme works to create a positive environment for all participants.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact Jereme will have on our program and community. Although he may seem laid back, put him in front of some youth, and one may wonder who is having the most fun. Welcome to the family Jereme!
