Limited Pesticide Trainings Available

Pesticide licenses are required by any lawn or landscape company who will be applying pesticides (including herbicides) as part of their job. Many lawn professionals who treat plant beds for weeds, only need a Limited pesticide license. In order to obtain this license, the Florida Department of Agriculture requires that each person attend a 6 hour training course and pass an examination.

Escambia Extension will offer this Limited pesticide training on Tuesday, February 21 and then give the examination. You may sign up to take the course at https://feb_2017limitedpesticide.eventbrite.com
More specific program information may be found at Limited pesticide training .

If you already have a Limited certification and only need to renew for the year, plan to attend the Prohort Series on Tuesday, February 28. This will provide you with 2 Core and 2 Limited category CEUS. Register at https://prohortrenewal.eventbrite.com
