Aquaponics 101

Aquaponics is a process where fish produce nutrients for plants and the plants improve the water quality for the fish. These systems can be used to produce either vegetables and greens and/or fish for a source of food. Either as a hobby or a supplemental income aquaponics can be a great hobby. This program will introduce the basics of how systems function, which plants and fish can be used, build small scale systems for demosntration, and visit a local system in operation. The cost of the program will $45 and you can register at www.ap2014.eventbrite.com. The program will be held in northern Santa Rosa County February 27. See attached flyer for more information.
