Spring Vegetable Gardening Series

Have you always wanted to grow your own vegetables but don’t know where to start? This Spring Vegetable Gardening Series might be for you!

During this hands-on 10-week class we will start crops from seed as well as transplants and take care of them as they grow—together! We will grow a variety of spring vegetables, herbs and pollinator crops in the ground and in containers. Participants who complete the series will take home what they grow. Class will meet weekly on Thursday evenings. Each week we will begin with a short classroom session, and then implement that lesson in the garden. Dates are March 12, 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14 from 5:00-7:00 pm. The classes will take place at the:

Duval Extension Urban Garden Demonstration Site

1032 Superior Street, Jacksonville, FL 32254.

The cost will be $50.00 for all ten sessions. For further information view this flyer: Spring_Vegetable_Gardening_Series.
