Flat-top Goldenrod – Weed of the Week

Goldenrod is a perennial plant that is commonly found in pastures and fields with low level management. It can be confused with dog fennel, but an easy way to tell them apart is by the stem. If the stem is angled, woody, and hard to break, it is Flat-Top Goldenrod.
