Spring 2018 Nature Coast Master Naturalist Courses

A Perfect Backdrop for Learning

Florida’s Nature Coast provides an ideal natural classroom. Even the casual onlooker will easily observe diverse ecological interactions. Dolphins feeding along oyster bars, black skimmers flocking along the beach, and white ibis flying inland to gather food for their young are common sights. The Florida Master Naturalist Program (FMNP) offers an opportunity for casual onlookers to look deeper. During the courses, participants develop the knowledge base and observational skills to understand the ecosystems around them. Florida’s Nature Coast offers a diverse array of freshwater, estuarine, and upland habitats for FMNP students to explore. In spring 2018, we are offering at least three FMNP courses.
