The University of Florida Career Influencer Awards celebrates the collaboration and innovation of our partners who have had an exceptional impact on career development and career engagements during the 2019-2020 academic year. Nominees and awards were presented for company, faculty, staff, and student organization categories at the UF Career Connections Center’s annual Career Engagement Summit (formerly the Employer Retreat.) This year was the first virtual offering of this program and boasted 147 unique users and 85 attendees who participate in programming throughout the day.
Several CALS faculty and staff were nominated for Career Influencer Awards, and recognized as nominees at the ceremony on Thursday, July 16, 2020! Congratulate these career influencers when you see them next!

Father figures are needed in all parts of education and in all of life. I teach GED to inmates in a local jail and many of the problems these inmates have stems from their many drop out fathers both male and female.

Indeed everyone need to eat, and many also complain about the food source quality. I think we all should, at least, do farming in our homes. If the lack of space is a problem, then we should use vertical farming methods. This will not only clean our environment but also reduce the peoples depression (as looking at green reduces depression and is good for mental health).
