The Countdown Begins!

We are ONE week away from the much talked about 2017 US solar eclipse. Next Monday, August 21st, from approximately 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, we will be able to see the moon come directly between the sun and the Earth and seemingly cover the sun. From Calhoun County, we will only see a partial eclipse, so don’t look directly at the eclipse without special, protective glasses. No glasses? Never fear… we are full of ideas for other ways of viewing the eclipse. So stay tuned this week, and we will get you and your family set up for epic eclipse viewing – 4-H style! ….Wanna know what the eclipse will look like in our area?
