A huge Thank You to Altha School for inviting Calhoun County 4-H to their 2016 FFA Farm Field Day. We really enjoyed planting radishes with Altha K-2nd graders and think they enjoyed it too! We shared fun facts about radishes with the students. Here are their three favorite facts: Radishes grow fast – only 25 days from seed to harvest; radishes are members of the broccoli and cabbage family, and Florida is one of the top two radish producing states in the nation.
