Calhoun Outdoor Life Series: Bucket, Birds and Butterflies

Watering Can-gardening-080764Celebrate Spring with the Calhoun County 4-H and learn how to enjoy the outdoors in your own backyard! Individuals and families are invited to attend this three class series at the Calhoun County Extension Office:

Container Gardening: April 3, 2014 (5-7 pm CDT)

Cavity-Nesting Birds – April 10, 2014 (5-7 pm CDT

Butterfly Gardening – April 17, 2014 (5-7 pm CDT)

Each class will have both adult and kid-friendly activities. The cost is $30 for the series or $10 per class which covers all materials and instructions for one person. If families wish to attend, they may pay for each member to have their own supplies, or pay for one set of project supplies which they will work on together as a family unit. All youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

4-H is open to ALL youth, ages of 5-18, regardless of race, color, creed, nationality, ethnicity, gender, or disability.
