Agricultural diagnostic services in Alachua County

What’s wrong with my plants? There are multiple resources available to you to help diagnose and ID pests and diseases affecting your crops. Phone numbers for the different labs are provided and we encourage you to take advantage of electronic submissions as much as possible.

You can submit pictures of pests and symptomatic plants for identification. Once you become a user on the site, you can submit multiple inquiries. Information on how to sample and guidelines to submit your photos is available.

Turnaround times might be longer due to reduced personnel. Visit the Sample Submission Forms & Information section for specimen forms. Please call the lab before shipping.
